Unable to receive calls or texts

Zunaid

I recently ported my number from Lyca to Three. Unfortunately since then I am unable to receive calls or texts, can make and send them though. People who call me receive a message stating number called not recognised, however the number does show correctly on my Three account.

I have chatted to advisors online and they have been helpful, told me this is being looked into, but couldn't give any further details or timescales and I am just a bit concerned I may be missing important calls and texts, just wondered if anyone could shed further light on this?

TIA

Hello Kiymadeit,

We are very sorry to hear you are experiencing the issues you are having form when you ported over from Vodafone.

We understand this is frustrating as you mentioned that you cannot access your banking apps or receive your important calls and texts.

I have sent you a private message regarding this.

A few months later but I’m in the situation. I’ve just transferred from Lyca to 3 can’t receive calls or texts but can make and send.
I hope it’s fixed asap.

Hi @DPH23,

I'm really sorry but in this case Lyca recently suffered a cyberattack and it has caused ports during October to be delayed from their network. We've managed to start getting this back on track with them this week, so hopefully it should now be sorted, or if not very soon. Does your number seem to have transferred over yet?

Thanks,
Jonathan

I’ve also transferred my number this week from Lyca and have the same issue - not receiving calls or messages but being able to send them. When they’ve resolved their internal issue or whatnot will three automatically reattempt to port my number or will I have to get in touch with them. Also, do you roughly know how long this is going to take, I’m currently unable to access my work email which requires me to verify using my phone number. Thanks.

Hi @ConfusedPigeon,

I totally appreciate your frustration. We're chasing this issue regularly and will reattempt all delayed ports as soon as it's safe and possible to do so.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Can you please help on this?

Hey @LLL,

I'm sorry to hear your port hasn't completed yet. Did you port over from Lyca or another network?

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi @arunasokan007,

I'm sorry for the delay with this. If it's a port from Lyca you arranged within the last week then it was unfortunately disrupted by a cyber attack on their systems. We're communicating with Lyca closely but they need to resolve some internal issues before we can reattempt the port. Hopefully this should be sorted out soon.

Thanks,
Jonathan
