The only option is a data passport but that costs Ā£5 a day for unlimited data for 24 hours. Probably cheaper to just pay the surcharge depending on how much data youāre going to use. Based on 0.3p/mb for the surcharge on a three your way plan you would need to use 1666.66 mb in 24 hours to hit Ā£5.

Youāll have to top up cash and pay for what you use.

Hi,
I don't quite understand the above responses (I am not very good with the technical stuff), apologies if I repeat a question that has already been answered. So once I reach the 12Gbyte limit, I can still buy a data passport for Ā£5/day and that would allow me to go over the 12Gbyte? Is that true for business customers too?

Business charges are slightly different see here
Using Spain as an example itās Ā£6 inc vat for a data passport for 24hrs unlimited data.
Or/ 0.3p per MB if you still have UK data allowance, but go over the 12GB cap
Or/ 1p per MB of you have no UK data allowance left

Thank you. I got the info from a Three shop today, that once the 12Gybyte is used, there is nothing they can do, which was weird. We have unlimited data, so should it not automatically be available for the 0.3p per MB? Thank you!

From what I posted above I believe so yes but that is based on going to Spain. Please check the link i gave you for pricing for the country you are actually going to.

Not wrong. The information given is straight from the Three website. Where are you getting your information from?
