Hi
i depend on WiFi calling as we have no signal. It worked fine, I went on holiday p, used an eSIM and since I came back a week ago, it hasn’t worked.
ive switched phone off and on, switched off WiFi calling and back on, can’t find VoLTE as mentioned in some posts. Phoned Three but they said it’s nothing to do with them.
It’s a iPhone 14.
any help?
thanks

There was an issue with a carrier update which has now been resolved. If you go into the settings menu general/about then scroll down to network provider and it should say Three 64.2. If it says Three 64.1 simply tap it and it should offer you an update. Accept the update and that will then solve your problem.

Thanks anyway for your efforts, your info has helped me understand the issue more. At least I kinda know what say to 3 when they (no doubt) come back and say it’s not their fault….. clearly it is!

Good luck in getting it sorted.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, this doesn't work. I had done the same last week and just tried it again now. Same thing happens. I click on network provider which says Three 50.1, it changes to IMS Status Voice & IMS, I click on that and it goes back to Network Provider Three 50.1. If I scroll further down to Network Provider Lock No SIM restr.... and click on that, nothing happens. I have used this SIM and iPhone SE software version 15.8.5 Serial Number DX3V417BHTW1 for the last 3 years on wi-fi calling with no problems. It works perfectly 4 miles away so the problem is only with wi-fi. Thanks

Go to the settings menu of your iPhone and click on general. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page until you see the word reset ( it might say transfer and reset depending on which version of iOS you’re running) and click on the word reset. Then you’ll get a sub menu where you need to click on RESET NETWORK SETTINGS. This will erase all your current settings and your phone will restart with the latest settings. A word of caution it will also erase your WiFi passwords so you’ll need to enter them again. I see no reason why this action won’t fix your problem,

Thanks. I do this exactly, I've just gone through it again for the third time. It says it's taking me back to factory settings. When I restart, enter password, still 50.1. Auto updates says iOS 15.8.5 iOS is up to date. I have one bar at present, but often it goes no network. Thanks for your patience.

Then I’m sorry I’ve run out of ideas. This worked for me and my other half on separate occasions.I can only direct you to customer service.

Thanks for your effort. Customer tech have so far failed, as have Apple. I'll try EE on Monday.

Hi there, I have the same problem as you do - I click on network provider which says Three 54.1, it changes to IMS Status Voice & IMS, I click on that and it goes back to Network Provider Three 54.1.
Did you manage to resolve the issue?

I've just had a call back today and was eventually put through to a complaints operator who asked for time and gave my account a credit. I have had difficulty in explaining to them that it's wi-fi calling that's worked for 9 years and therefore not the mast that's the problem. There is an outage problem with the mast in my area. I'm beginning to think that the wi-fi carrier could be the problem. I use EE(old BT), whom do the other posters on this thread use. I will speak to them tomorrow using my landline as it's a Freephone number.

Mmm….can see you’re thinking but I can’t get wifi calling anywhere, no matter who the broadband is with. I’ve tried at several friends houses with various ones but no go. The common denominator is still Three….
I know that Tesco mobile doesn’t support wifi calling on older phones(which mine is) so my point is the mobile company is the one that controls this. I’m still pursuing with the executive team - will let you know.
