Business account to manage multiple individual contracts?

I manage and pay for five phones (immediate family).  The current process of having to manage each contract with each phone, separately is a complete headache (especially when my family are often distributed and using their own phones).

I am not registered as a Business (I'm fully employed), but is it possible for an individual to open a Business Account to handle all the contracts together?

Hi @RedSnowDonkey,

To apply for a business account you do need to be a sole trader, or representing some sort of organisation such as a limited company, partnership, or charity.

I appreciate that currently it can be awkward to access multiple phone numbers on My3, we are taking this feedback into account and are exploring options to make this more straightforward in the future.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Fledgling

Yesterday, we visited your store in Buchanan Street,Glasgow to check our contract status’. Your customer advisor told us that 2 out of 3 of our contracts have expired, and suggested that we take another contract with Three, for 3 phones, however he did not tell us that it is a business account during that process. We agreed to the contract, and today we realise that we have made a business contract, and worse, our e-sim cards aren’t working. We were promised that within 2 hours our current telephone numbers will transfer to the E-sim cards, and that didn’t happen.

Hello, Yursar.

It's unusual that you'd be put onto a business account without applying for one. Information about your business would typically be needed in order to complete the application. If you didn't go through that process, I don't understand how a business account could have been set up.

The eSIMs would normally only stop working if they were replaced with new eSIMs or physical SIMs, and normally you'd just have to switch over to those SIMs to get access again. However, if it's a business plan that was set up, those would be on new accounts and wouldn't impact the existing SIMs or eSIMs at all.

The process your accounts are going through doesn't seem to fit within the normal expectations of an upgrade or a change to business. In order to really know more, I'd recommend checking back in with the team at store, or reaching out to the Support Team so it can be looked into.

Pete.

All you can do is ask but there will be some hurdle from stopping an individual from doing this. I don't know what info or deposits they may require. 3 don't do families or family discounts.

The only post to reference business is this one:
