Call from 01865 ****** (Oxford) today claiming to be from 3 mobile promotions??????

I can confirm this isn't a legitimate Three caller. I'd recommend blocking the number, as well as reporting this to us. You can do this, free of charge, by texting the word 'CALL' followed by the number to 7726.

We also have a helpful page on what to watch out for when it comes to fraud.
