Hi all, I was wondering if it is possible to reactivate an old mobile number that belonged to me? In March 2022 I got a new mobile number, all was well and I didn't think anything of it. Then, in July I upgraded my contract and got a new telephone, when trying to log into my accounts on my new phone I realised that my Two Step Authentication was set up so that to access my accounts, I would need text message confirmation - the problem is, this is set up to my old deactivated telephone number, meaning that there is no possible way for me to access any of my accounts. The phone number is not in use, and when I attempt to call it, it simply beeps and says "number not valid". Three have said they are unable to reactivate the number but other mobile phone providers are able to offer some assistance to their customers from what I've found online so I am ever hopeful that there must be a way? Thank you so much

Hello, juju22.
Welcome to the Three Community.
Sadly, the number wouldn't be retrievable due to how much time has passed since the number was cancelled. I can understand it'll be frustrating, but you might need to get in touch with the companies that are using the old number for 2FA and see if you can get them reset.
Pete.
