I recently (and now regrettably) took out Three's Home Broadband, and have the Zyxel router.
Up until Friday 27 October I was getting respectable speeds, which have since been throttled to 4-5mbs, maximum 10 mbs.
I spoke to the social media webchat team and the customer support team who advised that Three are working on 2 of my 5 local masts, so 3 masts are handling the congestion of 5.
Can anyone provide any suggestions of what can be amended from a settings-front to boost the speeds I'm receiving?
Or even better, advise how long it takes for Three to complete its upgrades in case this has been experienced by others? Very helpfully, the advisor said "one week, or two week or three week"(!).
Am frankly at my wits end - Three should lose its licence to provide network services, absolutely abysmal.

I’ve had the same issue consistently for about a year and a half now, complete silence from three. Network checker always says “work being done”, was so good to start and has been terrible for such a long time.

Hi,
May I know where you live? I live in Wakefield. I (and all my neighbours using Three broadband) have been experiencing the same issue. I went abroad in July at which time all was fine but when I got back in end September, everything seems to have gone to pot. My internet signal was dropping 4 or 5 times a day, requiring a router reboot. This issue got sorted after my internet protocol was changed to IPV4 (from IPV6). The speed issue is exactly as you say - 4 or 5 mbps in the evenings (used to be really fast previously).
Like you, I am really annoyed and am thinking of moving to another network but am fearful that they may be the same.

The quick, and least helpful, answer is that I am pretty confident that 3 have no clue when work will be completed. They have been working on masts nearby me for a couple of months.
