Really pleased with my new 5g hub.. It's excellent as a standalone router. However, I'd like to now connect it to my Sky Q box using an ethernet cable so, a couple of questions.. 1) is it just plug and play or do I need to change settings on the Q box... 2) if I can connect to the Q box, will the Q box and mini boxes still act as a mesh network around my home? Have researched these queries but can't find any real definitive answers. Thanks, David.

Looks like it's possible from this link.

I would try to get the Q box connected first via ethernet cable and then try the method to connect the mini boxes via Wi-Fi from the link.

Thanks for your prompt reply, I'll give that a go and report back tomorrow... Am currently off work having had a knee replacement op so am trying to catch up on all my tech jobs while I can... 😀

Hi, Which 5G router do you have? How do you intend to connect the mini boxes?

Have the 3 5g router, NR5103E, was hoping to connect the router to the q box using ethernet cable and still retain the mesh wifi of the mini boxes.
