How can I find out my wan IP address when away from home

How can I find out my home broadband wan IP address when away from home? I've called customer services but they cannot help. I find it hard to believe that the service centres cannot see an assigned IP address to a modem and that they cannot reboot the device either.

You could setup remote access to your network, either to the router if its supported or to an internal pc that's left on

I think you would require a dynamic public IP address for that. 3 operates CGNAT.
