Huawei B535-232 Certificate has Expired

cancunia

Apologies for the double post, I put the original in 'Data' by mistake, it looks like it should have been in Broadband..

The certificate on the management web pages for the B535-232 has expired which means it needs a security breach in order to access the management pages. The router is on the latest firmware, but the certificate expired in November:

Software version 11.0.1.2(H200SP5C21)
Web UI version WEBUI 11.0.1.1(W2SP4C21)
Configuration file version B535-232-CUST 10.0.1.2(C21)

NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID
Subject: www.hirouter.net
Issuer: Actalis Organization Validated Server CA G3
Expires on: Nov 16, 2022
Current date: Dec 27, 2022

Hello Jonathan 👋
The certificate for the 'https://hirouter.net/html/index.html' page on my Huawei B535¤ Three router, that you arranged to be renewed previously (see the posts above), has just expired again 👎:

Issued On     Wednesday 25 October 2023 at 15:04:35
Expires on     Monday 28 October 2024 at 15:24:35
Would you kindly see that someone renews it once more please, many thanks.

(NB I went to log-in to the 3community with my same email address as before, and it seems to have created me a new account 😞
¤ NBB it still works and I cannot renew with Three at a better price, so I have to stick with the 535…

Hi @Hunter-RF,

Sorry for any confusion on the sign in process, we brought in a Single Sign On to pair the Community with our My3 service earlier in the year,

I've flagged this with our Tech teams, and they've confirmed they're working on this with contacts at Huawei. I'll let you know if we need any further info to help resolve this.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi @Hunter-RF,

Sorry for the delay, the issue has been raised with our Device teams, and they're coordinating with Huawei. To my understanding this will be updated automatically once resolved, but I'll let you know if there's any updates in the meantime.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi JonathanB

I have this issue too and struggled living with it for several Months, but if you have a fix: yes please ✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️

I did try resetting my router just now, but the expired certificate still lingers 😒, so I guess you have a means of fixing it individually?

Thanks.

I'm prompted "You have reached the limit for number of private messages that you can send for now. Please try again later." even though I haven't sent any PMs.

Maybe due to not enough posts?

EDIT: It's let me send one after posting this message!
