VPN Issue to connect office server

Ishan92

Hello,

I am struggling to log in to our office server using my 5G broadband router through Daytark VPN. However, I can log in through a mobile hotspot (which is a different service provider). Could you provide any advise to sort out this issue?

Hi Jonathan,

I tried this, but it didn't work. The problem is that the VPN frequently disconnects. Sometimes, even when it is connected, the VPN suddenly disconnects when I try to log into the server.

Ishan

Hello.

That's quite strange.

Do you have issues with any other connected devices that are not running through the VPN? Specifically, are there issues when testing other devices while the connection is under load?

Pete.

Hi @Ishan92,

I don't think we've had any posts about a VPN service called Daytark before. Some Community members have found that switching their router's APN profile to manual and setting this to IPv4 only has helped with VPN connection issues though, you can read more here: FYI : IPv6 Prevented VPN Connection

If that doesn't seem to help, can you let me know a bit more about the issue, are you unable to connect whatsoever, or does it seem to issues with the speeds, or being frequently disconnected from the VPN?

Thanks,
Jonathan
