Since updating to iOS 18.2 I’ve been unable to use WiFi calling on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I’m When it is enabled I cannot make or received calls. My cell quality is noticeably poorer when I have this option disabled. Can anyone help with this? I’ve even tried using the Beta 18.3 and it hasn’t fixed the issue.

Thanks for your reply
Yep I’ve done all that. I’ve actually fixed the issue for now
Looked on the Sky community page and it mentioned changing the WiFi security level. This never worked but it made me think about the type of fix I always ask people to try in my own job. I forgot the WiFi name and password and then readded. Job done.

Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate it
Done a bit of messing about today. Used my work phone as a hotspot and was able to make calls so that made me think it was a problem with Sky WiFi. But my work phone is 18.2 and works fine
I’ve reset network settings on my phone, set phone up as a brand new phone and tried airplane mode off and on then mobile settings off and on but no success. It’s looking likely to be the router I think so will work on that. Just seems weird that this only started happening after the 18.2 update.
wish I could get a new phone😂

That is a good shout @Clever-Trevor
On Android I often activate aeroplane mode i.e. ON and then I just switch ON the wifi (so mobile data/network is off). In this way I get on wifi calling regarless of the radio/cell coverage 😀 and SMS still works, I guess that is because of IMS
