Hello, I live in the US and I purchased a pay-as-you-go card online for making calls and for using data while in the UK. When I was trying to purchase a top-up from my phone, it asked me to enter my postal code and it doesn't work. It says that there is a problem. Any suggestions on what I can do to get this straightened out?

I'm in the same position as OP. Are you saying 3 seriously has zero way of accepting payment from a foreign credit card? For the many that use your service for data when traveling this is an inconvenience. Could we use your (rather inaptly named, as it's down now) "live chat" to do a top up? Surely revenue & customer service is a goal even for a UK organisation? I want to top up before I arrive in the UK, stick the sim in my phone on the plane and be on my way with minimum of fuss.

Hi Coppertop24,
Welcome to the Three Community,
Are you in the UK or US at the moment? Online you need to use a UK credit/debit card registered to a UK address for your top up payments. If you're in the UK at the moment, you can buy a Three UK top up voucher from a Three store, or many other shops such as supermarkets and newsagents.
Hope this helps.
