I've been having issues with my mobile data. I was in Leeds the other week and had full bars of 5G but things like Whatsapp didn't connect, couldn't send iMessages, and was unable to browse. I did a network reset and turned airplane mode off and on but the issue persisted.
My mobile data worked later in the evening when I was in a different location away from the city. Does this conclude that this a location issue? If so, is there anything I can do when this happens? Just annoying because when in a city it's when i need the data the most to navigate and communicate.
I called Three support and they went through checks but difficult seeing as it is occurring intermittently / certain locations. Asked to switch SIM to another handset when it occurs but it's a bit of an impractical test to do when out and about.

Hi @Harry97,
Sorry to hear the connection was letting you down. It does sound like you were possibly dealing with local congestion or a temporary network issue at the location. Our Network Status Checker can help determine if we're working on any location issues if you have the postcode.
In terms of advice when encountering a local network issue, there's no blanket advice we can give, but if 5G service doesn't seem to be working in an area, it may be worth checking your network settings and switching to 4G/LTE. Depending on the nature of the issue you may get a better service on 4G if a 5G mast has a fault.
Let us know if you're seeing issues more frequently or in differing locations, and we'll be happy to take a closer look.
Thanks,
Jonathan
