Loss of signal Cambourne Cambridgeshire

RobA1

Now nearly two weeks of having no signal in and around Cambourne Cambridgeshire CB23***. Got only dots where bars should show, contacted customer support twice to be told they’re working on it. Status checker shows a problem being worked on but seriously, I can’t make or receive calls, texts etc and it’s getting a joke now.

Hi Jonathan

As of yesterday the signal strength has thankfully finally returned 🤩

Exactly the same in Norwich. I think is time to change network

Hello.

That's not so great. Usually a reduction in network performance is temporary. It can happen when faults occur, or when changes happen in the area. It can take a bit of time for things to be sorted and go back to normal.

It might be worth popping through to the Service Status page to see if there's anything there about the issue you're having.

You could also speak to the Support Team by calling or chatting to explore the options that might be available to you.

Pete.

The signal is still useless, used have good speeds as on the old airfield and now only 1 or 2 bars showing with very slow data speeds

Oh that sounds frustrating. With the network growing and increasing their coverage, I'm not sure why it would be so problematic in that area for you. It's possible there's some kind of fault in the area that's throwing things off, or perhaps there's a device issue that's making it harder to connect.

The best way to find out more would be to speak to the Support Team on chat or by calling. They can explore the issue in greater detail and advise of the available options.

Pete.

Hi @RobA1@Aaminasad@Sarah-Louise,

I'm sorry to hear about the disruptions you've been facing recently. Have you started to see any improvements to the local service in the meantime?

@Sarah-Louise, just to check as it's not clear from your post, are you also in the Cambourne area?

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan, yes I’m also in the CB23 area and like the others I now have signal.
Thank you.

It improved but now isn’t working again, it’s shows full signal and 4G but I don’t actually have any signal and can’t do anything unless connected to WiFi.

Hey @Sarah-Louise,

Ah, that's a pain.

Could you enter your postcode into our Network Status Checker and let us know if there's any reported issues or work going on in the area that may be causing this, please?

When did the issue first begin? Are you noticing a loss of services at any other areas, or solely your home address?

Thanks,

Kate

It says there is a known issue which is being fixed but it’s been saying that for a while. The entire CB23 postcode has had problems with signal for months. Either we have none at all or it says full signal and 4G but nothing loads, phone calls don’t connect/aren’t received it and messages don’t send.
