I had to open purchase a new sim on my new contract and have been told I can't switch my number to it as they're both on 3 contracts. I've been advised to switch the old one to a PAYG and then switch it across to the new phone.
Is this really the only way to do this? It seems like a lot of faff.
If this is the only way to do it, how do I do that? I know I need a PAC code, but where do I then submit the PAC code to switch the number? Are there any waiting periods required between the 2 switches?
