Experiencing the same issue as others have reported -:unable to receive OTPs from anyone other than 3 having recently ported. Cannot make bank payments, log into several accounts, or reverify my WhatsApp. So incredibly frustrating to see this known issue and it cannot be addressed for at least 72 hours meanwhile the clock is running down for me to return the handset and cancel in cooling off period. All the while I'm unable to use my banking and other critical apps. Really regret moving from 02. Tried everything!

Believe it or not porting seemed to be a total coincidence, which was very surprising considering it was mentioned by every single person posting about this, especially considering almost all of you came from 02.
Sorry I don't know the precise details, but it looks like a number of different organisations' automated messages were failing to deliver, and the community feedback has helped correlate what the problem was so the engineers could fix it.
I'm very glad to hear confirmation from both sides that the issue seems to be fixed though. We'll mark this as resolved, but if anyone is still noticing any issues please let us know.

I have the same phone as you and I ported from Vodafone. Exact same issues. It's driving me crazy. Surely someone knows what the issue is?

Thanks for the update. Just to mention: Yesterday early evening a couple of company's OTP codes started to work. I thought progress was being made. Unfortunately as of this morning they're back to not coming through again. I hadn't changed any settings or done anything differently in the interim.

I have been able to receive texts from phones on the three network, as well as one on O2 network, which is the network I originally ported from. Not able to receive OTP/short code text messages from companies

As of this afternoon the situation remains unchanged for me and that includes not receiving all texts sent when testing by sending from my old phone using an O2 PAYG sim in it that's entirely unrelated to my old O2 account/number (and for the record has always been on O2 and never had its number ported). Of five texts I sent in around a 5-6 minute period I only received two of them.

I am receiving texts from Vodafone and also otp from 3 themselves. Thank you as you can appreciate it's hugely disruptive to financial management.

@JonathanB I have also tested and receiving texts from ee and Id mobile as well as Vodafone- but no OTPs since the day I ported.

Well once again whoever sending you messages might be Vodafone but the original number might be Three or EE or O2 😜 so portability is key to all operators

Clear storage and cache in your Messages app, and then make sure that it is your current mobile number showing.
