SMS messages not sending

A couple of months ago I transfered my number from ID to Three on a new iPhone 15.  Since then I’ve had problems sending normal SMS messages - they just end up saying message sending failed.

weird thing is, the problem is intermittent.  For some people sms works fine, for others it fails.

ive tried all the normal Apple suggested stuff to solve it, but its not working.  Removing the sim, airplane mode on off, even tried it resetting the phone.  Nothing fixes it.  iMessage works fine, nothing else does.

Any suggestions?

We'll do our best to help. Can you tell me a bit more about what's been happening:

• Did you recently join Three by porting your number over from another provider?
• Are you also using an iPhone like the original poster?
• Are texts failing to one, some, or all numbers you try?
