Three specifically gave my address a good indoor 5G signal rating on its signal checker. And, when ordering the base unit and 5G service by phone, I specifically asked the Three representative to confirm the signal checker's rating. He did, confirming as much via the signal checker himself.
In actuality, I've not once picked up a 5G signal, despite having the service for over four months. Despite moving the base unit around my house to locate the point of strongest signal.
In fact, since "upgrading" from my 3 year old 4G mobile hot-spot to 5G, my average connection (up/down) speed has diminished significantly. Youtube defaults to 360p most of the time, even when no other bandwidth is bring used, with no other devices being connected to the network.
It's just not good enough. It's false advertising. I "upgraded" specifically because the Three signal checker told me I'd get an indoor 5G signal. I can't even get 5G signal. And the 4G signal (illuminated blue globe on base unit) I do receive has never improved beyond "weak" (ie. three red bars illuminated on base unit).
I want a prompt response from Three with solutions to fix this. Thanks in advance, Sam
