It seems my area finally has 5G nearly a year down the line after the branch manager promised we got 5G when we purchased it in store..
Service has been ropey throughout the year with 4G, speeds were okay at around 50Mb down, and now to this.
It's so slow, I can't even access my security system or my Hive.
I've rebooted the router several times and moved it around from room to room with no difference.

I am on the extreme edge of 5g and my phone defaults to the higher number, 5g, and not the strongest signal. The 5g is so slow that web pages timeout and the only solution is to set my phone to ignore 5g. For some reason I need keep resetting it to 4g as my phone forgets.
Please post your router type and firmware version so that someone with similar may be able to help.
