On the 23rd of November 2023 I purchase a ZTE MC888 with sim on contract from a 3 shop in NE Lincolnshire.
From day 1 up to the 10th March this year 2024 I was getting download speeds on average of 120 mbs, since then I am only getting between 0 and 15 mbs download speed and the bluelight is on indicating I am now getting 4G signal. I called 3 helpline who told me that there is no 5g mast in my area and that I was lucky to be getting a 5G signal. I have kept a spreadsheet of speeds since installation.
My neighbour is also having the same problem. (We got the router about the same time)
The same thing happened with EE, and Smarty that's why I change to 3, the lady in the 3 store told me that EE and Smarty reduce the signal after a few months, could 3 have also done this?
