Refund on remaining credit on a payg sim

I can no longer use my ISO Dash phone as it uses 3g.  I have a few pounds left in credit, is it possible to get this refunded?

I am in this situation. How do I actually contact Three to get the refund? The Customer Service link above just takes me to the self serve path which doesn't provide a refund option. When I call, the self serve IVR takes me in circles and doesn't give an option to talk to someone.

Hey @pototea,

If you follow the link provided, you'll have the option to join our Customer Service teams via live chat. Once you're connected, if you explain the situation, they'll be able to help with the refund request.

Thanks,

Kate

Hello.

It's disappointing to hear you're having issues caused by the 3G shutdown in some areas.

If you cancel the PAYG account and there is credit left over, you are able to request for that to be refunded to you. You'll need to complete the cancellation process first before the request to refund can be raised. You can make your cancellation request here.

Alternatively, if you're looking to keep your number or are simply moving to another provider, you can request a PAC or STAC by text message by following the steps on our support page.

Pete.

Hey @effsweet-three,

Thanks for getting back to us.

If you’re a Pay As You Go customer, any remaining credit will be confirmed when you request a PAC or STAC code, or when you ask for your balance.

Once the transfer to your new provider is complete, or in your case, the STAC code has been used, please reach out to our Customer Service team to get a refund for any remaining credit balance and unused Data Packs or Add-ons.

Thanks,
Kate
