I have same 4g broadband contract with 3 and i have never used any third party apps but they have still sent me the bill £18.00 extra on my bill which is from Fuzeforge that i have never consent or authorised.

I have tried to contact 3 but not much help they passed me the number of 2 different companies and said you need to speak with them they will refund. but as Three pay is service from 3 why i need to chase up scammers as it should not have been happened at first place. I have tried to contact those companies but as usual no luck now i have send them email but i am not sure if they will respond.

Three should stop this scammers using trusted customers account to pay. Very poor service by Three.

You are not alone in this unfortunate situation. Three have been hacked by allowing a third party to scam innocent customers—some have noticed unauthorized charges on their bills, while others remain unaware and continue to be scammed.

In my opinion, this could be an inside job that requires thorough investigation by Three. It is highly suspicious that after lodging a complaint, Three confidently directs customers to contact the scammer for a refund.

I questioned Three about how I could possibly subscribe to an app using a router—a device without a screen or touchpad, designed solely to send and receive signals, not function as a mobile device.

Three has failed its customers. It’s time to admit that your system has been compromised and compensate the victims.

Hello, Lilza.

It's disappointing to hear you have unexpected charged on your account. I'd recommend speaking to the Home Broadband Support Team and requesting a credit limit of £0 be set on the account. That will help prevent any accidental charges from happening on the account.

Pete.

Hi,

Please check the link below to find how many people are getting scammed by Fuzeforge and Three. Both companies have 1 star rating (because trust pilot doesn't allow negative rating).

I am also in touch with customer care with no luck so far.

Hi @Naz1,

I'm sorry to hear you've had unexpected charges on your bill. Normally when there's a 3rd party subscription you can find their contact info on your itemised billing which you can download from your My3 account online. You may also find the link that Geluk shared on their reply to this topic helpful as the PSA hold info and advice on charge to mobile subscriptions.

If this is a reverse charge text message subscription with a 5 digit number, you can usually text STOP in reply to prevent this from continuing, and we'd recommend to make contact with the provider directly if you'd like to dispute the subscription.

Thanks,
Jonathan
