Hi ,
I have a ZTE MC801A router which i recieved from three when i signed up to the 5g hub internet when i moved into my new house. Since then i have not recieved push notifications through to my phone, neither has my girlfriend. When we disconnect from the wifi and to 4G roaming we recieve all the notifications we should have at once. This also means our Google Hello doorbell does not work - it does not send notifications through on home when we are connected to wifi and also means we do not hear the doorbell as it wont send a chime through to the Google Mini speaker. Ive tried port fowarding Port 5228, reset to factory settings, enabled UPNP and reset the Google Home devices with no luck.... Any idea?

Phoning three on 500 from my three mobile I got the adult filters removed. No I get all my notifications. This is probably why it's affecting phones now as well.

Anyone still struggling with this? I've just got off the phone with 500 for the umpteenth time and it seems like it's been fixed!
Anuja tells me that it was an IP diversion issue and she changed my system from IPv4 to IPv6. I seem to be getting push notifications and also my nest devices now seem to be functioning correctly.
I hope this can help y'all get your systems working properly too. Took a lot of persuasion to not be fobbed off but we got there in the end. Hopefully it will keep working.
Good luck y'all.

Update. Unfortunately, the solution didn't last. Back to the drawing board.

That's excellent news. Thanks so much for confirming, this sounds like we've narrowed down where the cause of the issue lies, and even better that it's resolving the immediate issue when the adult filter is removed.
As I mentioned recently the filter shouldn't be interfering with push notifications, so I've passed this feedback on, and we'll hopefully find a proper fix before long for users that want to have a filter in place. I really appreciate everyone's perseverance on this one.
There's a couple of other threads scattered about the community that seem to be the same issue, so I'll get these merged.

Switching off adult filters did not work for me. I'm in the South West Midlands. I have the exact same symptoms, notifications on WiFi go absent. This affects 2FA via authenticator, any purchase alerts from banks, PayPal verification etm. It is quite annoying. When ringing support, the only response is reset your phone settings. This must be a pretty wide spread issue by the looks of this forum. Any update from the last note?

Awesome news @GnortsMrAlien
Great shout on pinpointing the problem @Ajm 🙌
Hopefully @JonathanB can arrange to have the adult restrictions looked into to resolve this for those who want the restrictions enabled 🙂

Hi All

Hey @jellys28,
It sounds like this might be related to No push notifications when connected to wifi the users that flagged this one have Three Broadband hence they're getting no notifications when on Wi-Fi and are picking them up on mobile data with another network.
We're still trying to figure out what is causing this issue, but if it's the same problem, it won't be your Pixel at fault. Are you able to test your SIM in any other device to double check that?
Thanks,
JonathanB
