Is it just me or is Three coverage THE WORST?

Years and years of paying to have poor to no signal regardless of which part of the country I'm in (Scotland, Yorkshire, Wales, Midlands, London, Kent) across many different types of phones. Data signal is so so bad. Especially in London. My page is struggling to load even now (for a simple forum). I've called so many times and had silly offers like "we'll reduce £2 off your bill", "have you tried resetting/wiping your phone?", "We're sorry, we value you, turn off data then on again." "Have you tried turning 5G off?".

The signal when calling is also so bad, I frequently get told people can't hear me.

Three is such an awful network, the only reason I was staying is because I have been on the same network for over 11 years. But its time for me to switch now. Terrible network.

No you’re incorrect! Although I’m  basing my comment purely on my own experience I’d say Three was roughly comparable. I live in very rural West Norfolk and Three are the only network currently supplying 5g in Kings Lynn. I came to Three from O2 last year and in my area O2 is a poor third in terms of coverage and bandwidth,

Obviously a late response, but I have no idea why you keep replying to every single post on this thread. You yourself talk about your experience in rural West Norfolk, and keep saying it might be different for others. So… stop responding to them when their experience may be very different to yours. We live in a small town, a semi-rural location, and reception is fine—not brilliant but we can at least receive phone calls, get internet, and use Google maps. However, every time we go to London… more than half of the time, we can’t even call each other by phone, let alone use the internet. Zero reception in what is the largest city in the UK is rather dire.

I have the exact same problem as you. I've been with Three for almost 15 years but my signal is awful pretty much everywhere since I signed my first contract with them. I pay extra for unlimited data but I rarely can actually use any data. They've never had good coverage no matter where I go, at least for the past 15 years I've been with them.

Its the WORST! Same as you been with them over 10 years and I will be changing when my contract ends. A whole year to wait !! Its driving me mad lol.. did you get anywhere with this?

I agree it's very poor and you can't speak to anyone anymore. Customer service is supposed to be open while 10pm and when you call they say it's closed. Joke!

I too have people saying they can't hear me and signal is so poor I connect to the WiFi. What's point in having 5g, 4g....etc and updating your phone to suit when you get poo, poor signal all the time. What exactly are we paying for! 14 yrs and I've recommended lots of family and friends. I hope they don't fall out with me.

Not on really. I'm too prepared to change networks.

Same here 3 was once the best but now keeps switching to 3g that just doesnt work.     Fed up trying to explain to cust service agents.   In india who are nice people but barely get english   Never mind my added very cool scots accent.           Almost give up time.

Took a PAYG sim to see what the network was like, looking at the bars on my phone whilst on my travels.  All good it appeared, always a few bars and 4G.  Made the move and took a 2 year contract, then realised I should have actually tested the network, not gone off how many bars of 4G.  Even when 2 or 3 bars are showing, nothing will load, or takes a very long time.  It's literally not useable.  We are in Devon, so rural area, but still, this is the worst experience of any network I've had.  Is there any way of getting out of a 2 year contract when you're 2 months in?

Couldn't agree more. I have several three sim contracts and all of them are awful. And one is in a completely different city. Seems to have gotten a lot worse in the last 5 months or so. Struggle to load web pages, watch youtube on the lowest resolution with frequent buffering. had to pretty much give up gaming. Phone calls always cut out or of unacceptable quality regardless of where i am. hear weird noises often when on calls or people sound like robots. When i log in ro the 3 app or online, keep getting kicked out. Certainly won't be renewing when my contracts are up.

I was ok with Vodafone till I moved to Three on a 24 month contract, what a mistake. My partner has EE and always has mobile data whereas my phone shows 4g or 5g but doesn't load anything which is annoying. We always joke on how I have to rely on her to search on google maps for directions or on google because my phone very often is super slow.

I had contacted Three a couple of times about it but no change, I am sure it is Three's network issue and so after 24 months of using my phone as a Wi-Fi phone I am moving to EE.
