I randomly got an email today saying my order has gone through. I don't remember making any order. The pdf file attached does not open using my birthday.
Is this automatic because I didn't upgrade my plan after the 24month period?

I got another of these today: "Your order's gone through" with an attachment which is encrypted and need my DOB in "DDMMYYYY" format. Has anyone else got email like this? The sender is "noreply@service.mails.three.co.uk" which seems legit but having encrypted attachment shouts scam!
Anyone from Three network here to clarify if this is actually scam and what they have done to mitigate the potential disaster?!

Hi there @RagingLeopard,
Have you purchased anything such as add-ons, data packs, or roaming passes? Emails about orders can arrive due to these, in addition to any main purchases associated with SIM/Device agreements.
Due to spoofing that can take place, I wouldn't be able to assure the legitimacy of this email, and we don't have account access to check on this directly.
Please connect with Customer Services, who'll be able to check your account to see any order records on the account.
Hopefully this can clarify things, but they'll make sure measures are put in place if you have any concerns.
Thanks,
Michael

Hey @ZayanMA,
Have you added anything to your basket on your account lately? Or added on a Go Roam pass or Data Pack etc?
Could you share a screenshot of the email (removing any personal details) and I'll check this out to ensure it's legitimate, please?
Thanks,
Kate

It appears to be a suspicious activity. I recommend contacting Three customer care by dialing 333.

No it is not automatic. If you don’t remember placing an order I suggest you call Three straight away incase a fraudulent transaction has occurred.
