Advice please for an 80 year old

I am pay as you go .will be loosing my land line .so need to use mobile at home through router ,as have very poor signal in our village ,would it pay me to go on a contract  .will calls be cheaper  and is it easy to do

Additional billing nightmare

I am confuse as to the bills I received that I am supposed to pay. Normally the amount I pay is 13.80 which includes vat but this time is 17.26 which I don’t understand
